Rich Cohen

As a seasoned financial professional, Rich Cohen focuses his practice on developing financial programs and strategies designed to address the unique financial needs and circumstances of our country’s growing mature population and their adult children. Through education, business background, and personal experience, Rich has garnered a broad base of knowledge which enables him to provide advice and direction to individuals looking to help: pass their estate to their heirs in the least costly most efficient manner, protect and preserve their hard-earned assets, maintain their independence and dignity throughout retirement, structure retirement plan assets to provide a guaranteed income for life, and reduce current income taxes where possible.

Rich is a national speaker and presents public financial informational seminars and workshops on a variety of financial topics including asset preservation and long term care in America and provides answers to common concerns such as: what options are available for receiving care in my home, are there any Medicare programs that should be considered, what resources are available to pay for services that informal family caregivers usually provide, and what is long term care insurance and should I consider it?

Rich has personally experienced the impact that a long-term care illness can have on a loved one and their friends and family. His passion and purpose, for more than 20 years, has been to serve as an advocate to his clients and to help them develop a customized program tailored to their personal financial circumstances and unique financial goals.

Rich is a member of the New Hampshire Estate Planning Council and is certified in Long Term Care (CLTC). His past occupations include being the Division VP of a major insurance carrier, a former member of the Society of Certified Senior Advisors, immediate past president of Breakfast Exchange Club of Nashua (Senior Volunteer Service Organization), and a founding member of SAFE (Senior and Family Enterprises), a group committed to serving the needs of seniors in New Hampshire.

Rich is married with three children, 6 grand daughters and two grandsons. He resides in Amherst NH and is a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Bruce MacomberBruce Macomber - Asset Preservation Workshop Speaker

Bruce Macomber has been in the financial services industry since 1997. His primary role is as a National Speaker on Retirement Issues for Combined Benefits United, Inc.’s Asset Preservation Workshops. But he also serves individual clients throughout Northern New England.

Bruce is a native of New Gloucester, Maine. He graduated from Gray-New Gloucester High School in 1980 before furthering his education at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. He still resides in New Gloucester with his wife, Janet, and his 9-year-old son Campbell. Bruce is an active volunteer for the recreation departments of both Gray and New Gloucester in addition to being a member of the New Gloucester Little League Board of Directors. He is also chairman of the 21 Reasons Coalition for Prevention of Youth Substance Abuse in Gray and New Gloucester.

This is Bruce’s philosophy in business, coaching kids and in his personal life. Bruce’s clients have found very quickly that their needs and concerns are the priority in any conversation or planning session. Bruce was a high school soccer and basketball referee for 10 years prior to the birth of his son. Al SmithAl Smith

Al Smith lives in the foothills of Denver with his immediate family. He graduated from Southern Illinois University in 1972 and has three grown children and four grandchildren. His work takes him all over the front range, eastern plains, and mountains. In his 35 years of providing financial products and services, he has worked with clients in Denver, Lakewood, Littleton, Longmont, Castle Rock, Elizabeth, Evergreen and Conifer. In addition to conducting workshops, conferences and luncheons to help educate people in financial areas locally, Al’s services as a National Speaker on Retirement Issues for Asset Preservation Workshops, takes him all over the country.

His unique approach involves careful listening and information gathering which are both very important given the ever changing environment of the regulations which may affect each person's situation differently. The work he does involves protection of assets from catastrophic illness, reducing income and estate taxes where possible, wealth strategies which incorporate both good returns and safety, enabling clients to achieve peace of mind, in spite of the uncertain times in which we live.

His low-key approach has made it easy for people to work with him. His goal with everyone with whom he works is to establish a long term relationship based on trust and confidence.
